Death Doula is a non medical, non funeral support service available to individuals and their loved ones from diagnosis, through the illness, dying process and grief support after.

  • Having an important and often difficult conversations in making decisions that will provide detailed guide of your wishes to help your family when you are not able to speak for yourself.

    • Ensuring that you have a say in any decisions that will affect you, making sure that your specific needs are being met

    • Creating opportunities for you to have supportive discussions with loved ones and healthcare professionals about death

    • Assisting with post-death support, including the completion of any required paperwork

  • Advocacy Support - Assisting in navigating the medical system so that you can have a clearer understanding of all your options. 

  • Caregiver Respite - providing an opportunity for primary caregivers to take a break, run errands or rest whether it is a few minutes or several hours. 

  • Vigil -  can include, sitting beside during the final hours of an individuals life. Can include, sitting together, talking, listening, sharing silence, reading, healing touch, sharing of rituals, supporting loved ones.
