Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
I understand that life happens, and sometimes you may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. My goal is to be as flexible as possible while maintaining fairness for both of us. Below is my cancellation policy and what to do if you need to make changes to your appointment.
Cancelation Policy
-
Please cancel as soon as you know you won’t be able to attend.
-
No fee if cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice.
-
If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice or do not attend, the full session fee will be charged.
-
If you have an emergency, I will consider a partial fee or a waived fee on a case-by-case basis.
Emergent Exceptions (Fees may be waived or reduced)
If your cancellation is due to an unavoidable emergency, I will take this into consideration. Examples of emergencies include:
-
A medical emergency requiring immediate attention (for yourself, a child, or an elderly parent).
-
Severe weather conditions that prevent you from attending.
-
An accident that makes it impossible for you to be at your session.
Non-Emergent Exceptions (Full fees applies)
The following situations, while understandable, do not qualify for an emergency exception:
-
Work commitments that come up unexpectedly.
-
Forgetting the appointment or mixing up the time.
-
Double-booking yourself.
-
Car trouble that prevents you from attending.
-
Childcare issues or last-minute scheduling conflicts.
📌 Please note: Victim Services (VQRP) and NIHB do not cover late cancellation fees—you will be responsible for the payment.
Late Arrival Policy
Your session time is reserved exclusively for you, so I encourage you to arrive on time. However, if you’re running late:
-
For virtual sessions,I will wait for you online for the first 15 minutes.
-
If you arrive after that, please message me via text or email, and I will join the session again.
-
-
For in-person sessions, I will watch for your arrival for the first 15 minutes.
-
If you arrive later than 15 minutes, please message me before coming in.
-
If you are significantly late, we will still end at the originally scheduled time out of fairness to other clients.
